El Juntacadáveres from Belgium is bringing a perfect blend of the traditional tango orchestras and the rebelliousness of the music of today’s scene.
Their music is a steaming mix of tango, hip-hop, electro, rock, reggae and latin… a combination of explosive energy, astonishing twists and turns.
The band was launched by the Argentine musician Enrique Noviello and completed by musicians from different countries and different music genres.
Since its start in 2009, El Juntacadáveres released its debut album “De Platino” in 2012, its second album “ Twists and Turns” in 2015 and recently released the EP “Who’s Gonna Stop Us” in 2016 which is the first part of a trilogy to come. These albums received many critics in the specialized press in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
The band performed at mayor festivals in Belgium and abroad: Pole Pole (Ghent, B), Sziget (Budapest, H), Sfinks (Boechout, B), Brückenfest (Berlin, D), Le Grand Soufflet (Rennes, F), Ostertango (Basel, CH), Airbag Festival (Brugge, B), Dranouter Folkfestival (Dranouter, B), Festival Mundial (Tilburg, NL), Tempocolor (Liège, B).
El Juntacadáveres performed on the Dutch national TV channel AVRO, the German national radio channel “SWR2” and repeatedly received airplay on the Belgian national radio channels “Radio Eén”, “RTBf La Prem1ère”.
El Juntacadáveres also played concerts at mayor concert venues: BOZAR (B), Ancienne Belgique (B), De Roma (B), De Centrale Ghent (B), Palace of Arts (Budapest, H), Rasa (Utrecht, NL).
